Ledley Breton King, has announced his forced retirement from football due to a knee injury, that has plagued him for a few years.   There are only a few supporters of Tottenham Hotspur who would be surprised of this announcement, as Ledley couldn’t train between games and only played 33 games in the past 2 seasons.

31 year old Ledley, made his debut for Spurs, 13 years ago and made over 300 appearances for the club he grew up in, amd was capped playing for England 21 times.

Daniel Levy paid tribute to the Club Captain, “Ledley has made a magnificent contribution to the club as a wonderful player, captain and ambassador.”

Although Ledley King has retired from football, he will continue to work at Spurs as an ambassador and he will be working in the local community.
