Rumors have it that DL is doing his best to sign Adebayor on a permanent deal by offering 8m to City and 100,000 weekly wages. I say this is ludicrous, if at all true. We need to invest in your players and not players who have passed their peak. Adebayor has proved his worth during his current spell at Spurs and we should all agree that he is no better than what we already have. He is no longer the potent goal scoring lethal striker he once was. Should such a deal be struck then all I can say is that we have managed to make another blunder.
