Yes, here comes the judge. His name is Newcastle and the hearing takes place tomorrow at 13:45 hours London time. A lot has been reported about the influx of French players to Newcastle during the January window. The reports were confirmed after Newcastle’s victory over Chelsea last week. They did us a big favor but now it’s our turn to face the almighty Geordies.

Comparing the Newcastle team we played in august to today’s team they have strengthened in very compartment and yet we lost that game (our first away game of the season) 2-1. On the other hand Spurs of august 2012 were nowhere near the Spurs of today and that is encouraging.

Names such as Sissoko, Debuchy, Gouffran and Marveaux are all knew to us Spurs fans and this will be the first time we will see what these Frenchmen are capable. We will definitely need to have Bale and Lennon at their very best. We will need our back line to be at their top and we will need our midfield to be creative. On the funny side, it is said that Pardew is becoming the next Wenger because he has a total of 11 French players in his side.

Coincidentally this time last year Spurs turned out 5 – 0 winners over Newcastle. Maybe that is a good omen, but we will all have to wait till tomorrow after to see what our fate has brought.
