The recruitment of staff and players to the Spurs squad continues today, with the addition of Adebayor as a Spurs player.  This is the third signing for Tottenham Hotspur in this transfer window with a few more to follow.  Spurs have agreed an undisclosed fee, that sources suggest to be in the region of £5 million and a £3 million signing on fee.  Although his wages at Manchester City were £170,000 a week, it is believed this will drop to £120,000 at Spurs which will still be a record high.  Both teams and player are happy with the arrangement, as AVB has openly shown admiration for the Togalese international and Manu was very much at home at White Hart Lane during his year long loan spell where, he scored 18 goaos in the league and cup competitions.

Mancini inherited Adebayor when he took over the club and they fell out, so, Manconi swiftly loaned him out to Real Madrid for half a season, before loaning him to Spurs for the entire season.   He built a good understanding, especially with Bale and always played with a grin on his face.  Mancini needed to shift Adebayor from the Manchester City in order to make way for Robin Van Persie.

Basically, we are doing ourselves and Manchester City a favour, we gain a striker for a knock-down price and this allows Arsenal to lose the one player they most wanted to keep!  Always happy to oblige, Arsenal!
